Elsa has spent the last decade cultivating gardens and habitats, serving as a garden instructor for the past 5 years.

Elsa has found belonging and purpose in rekindling a sense of connection with nature through gardening, and she wants to share this empowering experience with you. In a world where so much feels out of our control, we maintain the ability to make small and large impacts on the beings around us, especially through intentional gardening and tending of the Earth.

Since 2014, she has cultivated gardens across community gardens, educational farms, and backyards, with a special focus on weaving edible gardens into wild, natural landscapes. Throughout her journey, Elsa has led educational workshops on gardening techniques, child-friendly gardening practices, food preservation, seasonal eating, and compost management. She is a certified compost instructor by the 131° School of Composting and an experienced garden instructor.

As an educator, Elsa is passionate about helping people build meaningful connections with their gardens in ways that feel authentic and reliable. She aims to help you gain the skills and confidence needed to identify the plants and animals you are living with, plan and execute a harvest strategy, and bring your dream garden to life.
